Upcoming work trip. I’m flying BNE-SYD-HKG-TPE with the lot ticketed through QF but HKG-TPE is on CX (because QF doesn’t fly HKG-TPE). Arriving TPE at 12.40am local after a 6am BNE local departure too. 🤮🤮🤮

I have QF Club but only QFF Bronze at the moment (will hit silver for the first time since 2012 on the way back). Anybody care to give me the chances I can beg my way into the HKG QF Lounge while I kill 4-5 hours in transit?

So QF127 > CX408?

I'm guessing you're in economy?

You'd have access via Qantas Club for the flight back (assuming same routing for the return), but doesn't appear to be the case for the outbound as the next onward flight isn't on QF. You could ask and see.

Buckley's, IMHO.

You can always check out the Skydeck while in transit?
Spoiler: some photos from my recent trip report

Much to see when arriving at 5.50pm and departing at 10.50pm? I just wanted quiet for a few hours, a decent shower and a few drinks.
