$4,950USD + taxes will get you a zero gravity flight from eg Florida on a plane NASA sometime uses. Virgin Galatic might be offering 25,000,000 boni for a sub orbital flight. Can someone tell me what's the difference.

Go Weightless!

Are you ready for the most exhilarating time of your life?
Now you can experience weightlessness without going into space, in the same plane NASA uses to train astronauts.
Zero Gravity Corporation departs from Las Vegas and from Kennedy Space Center near Orlando, when they're not flying for NASA. Zero G is the only company in the world offering weightless parabolic flights to the general public.

They are totally different types of flights.

The Zero G one basically flies in a wave pattern high up. When the plane is diving, weightlessness occurs, but when they reach the bottom of the dive, the reverse occurs and you suffer from very high pressure.

I believe the Virgin Galactic flight actually gets into the sub orbital area so it's a true experience and will not have the ups and downs.

Read through both of the websites and sites like Wikipedia. There's sure to be a better explanation than I can give.

One is an actual space flight...

The other is a plane flight where by flying in a parabolic arc with a vertical acceleration that exactly matches gravity, but is straight up, to cancel gravity out = zero gravity. But it is only brief in duration.
