Well, I'll finally reach WP for the first time when I board QF 082 SIN-ADL in the next few hours.
Sitting in the QF lounge at SINafter my BOM-SIN flight and my SC's have already been credited.

It's been a pretty hard slog to get there.

Last QFF year I flew 73 QF sectors, 117,000 miles and 347 BIS hours to achieve 1,080 SC's.

So far this QFF year it's been 57 QF sectors, 169,000 miles and 456 BIS hours.

I think my next trip I might have a champagne in the F Lounge to celebrate. :D

Well done, and might I say you are not missing too much with the F lounge in SIN, its hardly the flagship QF F lounge these days. May the upgrade gods look favourably on your future travels, ;)

When I was in the Singapore I didn't even bother going to the F lounge, the J lounge isn't too bad.

Are they still using some phone number as the internet wifi password.

Oh and congrats, I had a smile for about a month, you have certainly done it the hard way.

Great news ! Now to work towards 1200 for next years retain ;)
enjoy WP despite the recent " enhancements " it's still a milestone worth achieving

Thanks for the congrats!

This is my 7th transit through SIN this year, and I must say I've been hosted into the SIN F Lounge a few times (including my last transit through here a few weeks ago) and was underwhelmed.

The food is nicer, but I prefer the space in the Business lounge, as well as the view over the check-in areas. Always something interesting happening!

What I'm looking forward to is walking through the SYD Int J Lounge doors! I've walked past them so many times I'm looking forward to crossing the hallowed portal!

Awesome job, but I think you’d rather head through the F Lounge doors ;)

Doh!
It's been a long couple of weeks - 12 flights in 15 days & 8 of them with Jet Airways, SpiceJet & Kingfisher.

F Lounge sounds much better.

And here's the update;

Oh interesting, I thought the next level was 2400SC, not that you could get the PG at 2100SC still, or wait and choose something more.

I’d imagine you’re looking forward to Kingfisher becoming a full member of 1W, so you can earn SC and points on them too. Would make re-qualification that little bit more easier I think.

Congrats mate. The F lounge in Mel and Syd makes my away trips so much more enjoyable to look forward to. Just try to get in the F lounge a few hours early so you can book a massage. Also the Salt and Pepper Squid is very nice. Well it is all nice.

BTW I also fly to Mumbai and Bangkok a LOT and find it is lower cost to fly JQ Star Class Mel/Bkk/Mel and then fly CX J Bkk/Bom/Bkk. The CX J return is normally around AU$800. That way it is all low cost SC earning miles. QF/BA F lounge in Bkk has better seats and is less crowded than the QF/BA J lounge but the food and drink are the same. It also has restricted opening hours. I normally use the J lounge.

All that needs to be done now is update your profile from QFF - Gold to QFF - WP. :)

Well done and welcome to the club.
