I've registered. 50% bonus points is not really enough to entice me to book anything I wasn't going to anyway, but the extra points won't hurt in case I do book a VA flight in the next week.

I also registered, but with no specific flights in mind.

Later I noticed that VA seemed to be having a business class sale and booked CBR-MEL-ADL return for the end of July for $579 all in. I thought it was a pretty good price for a trip to Adelaide and 200 status credits, as well as 50% extra points.

Less than a third of the cost of similar flights on Qantas.

Holy smokes, that's a good price for J.

This is back after I'd already booked a flight but may be targeted:

Yes booked flights yesterday and got this today. More annoying than pleasant news.

All the hassle of a wasted half hour on hold and on phone, for a few 100 more points .... nahhhh!

Seems to be targeted to people who already booked a flight recently? I didn't get anything and can't see any mention of this offer on the Velocity website.

I received the offer, but haven't booked a flight for sometime. Extra points won't entice me though, SCs perhaps....

Also got the e-mail about 50% bonus points but haven't booked a flight in a while (flying this long weekend though)
