Stay away from any Ebay/Craigslist auction of miles or status - particularly for American based loyalty schemes.

Their "Fraud Control" and similar groups are all over various auctions, and you are quite likely to see the points removed / your account suspended.

Then again, take you chance if you want ... it is a good deal!
 
Note that you don't get these miles added to your account. The seller is offering to allow the winner to access his account to spend them for flights etc.
 
Or for you to transfer into your account (at your expense). Pretty hefty fees for transferring the points though...
 
Besides the risk that you may take...the biding is now at $284 with 5 days to go. Have another look when there are 20 minutes to go and see what the price is. It wont be such a good deal then.

I will be surprised it the auction remains active for the next 5 days. Not one that I would consider touching.
