It has been an eternity since I was on a QF 763, and I'm wondering if the seats down the front of the cabin are good for legroom, a la row 4 on a 738!

Am currently in 34B (exit), and the config is V1 on seatguru - front row of Y comprises 23AB and JK (no middle section) and then a complete row 24 (though the middle section of this row appears offset a little forward from the side sections?)

T-80 is tomorrow and I was wondering if there was any compelling reason to shift from the exit row (e.g. as stated, if row 23 has a pitch like row 4 on a 738). Getting off quicker is not an issue for me in this instance.

Cheers

If you are not in hurry to get of the flight-stay in the exit row, and if your 767 is configured with two exit rows take the 2nd row towards the rear. There is more legroom under the seat in front of you as opposed to the bulkhead exit row seat. But beware if they recline!

Never flown at the front of the cabin with a bulkhead before other than JQ (much prefer normal seats than the bulkhead on JQ) so take this with a grain of salt.

On SeatGuru it does say row 23 has limited leg space due to the bulkhead. If you're in no hurry I'd say keep the exit row, guaranteed leg space and quick exit ;). Only downside of the exit row is how close it is to the lavatories on this configuration. Bulkhead's pro is first to be served food (or am I thinking of 737's) and quicker escape.

If you are in exit row and not in a hurry to get off then that is a good seat.

From memory 23JK is a really good seat on some 767-300s (forget which ones) as there is a cut out in the bulkhead.

I think it's V2 on SeatGuru. Can't decide whether to keep my current seat 43E (exit row) or try and move to 23J/K at T-80 when I fly next month.

Keep 43E - The exit rows on that version (ex-BA birds) are the best exit rows by far on the 767's
