787 Business Class Seats 2E & 2F

I just came off a flight from JNB in 3K. I’m pretty sure there are bins above row 2, although I think they are shallow as there is crew rest above.

My wife and I are in 3E and 3F (to Paris) and travel only with carry-on and a backpack which would normally go above us. The two seats in front of us, 2E and F, have become available so was toying with the idea of moving at T-80. Won't if we can't fit our gear up there

Correct. 2EF and 3EF don't have overhead bins as that is where the crew rest is. You have to share across with those seated in A K to be honest, unless row 3 can share with row 4.

Can someone confirm that there are no bins above 2E and 2F on the 787.
There are no overhead bins on top of 2E/F and 3E/F.

There is a well for crew rest. For the most part you share with 2/3 A/K. Most people generally have space or maybe in Row 4.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Makes you think we should move back a row.
Do you have QF status?

The advantage of being up front is having meal preferences being taken. If you're higher status pax then they'll try to take your meal preferences first.
