Well I was logged on last night when the site crashed. Now it looks like 5-6 days worth of posts have disappeared.

Is there any chance they will be recovered or do we have to write a lot more to catch up?

Finally thanks to the tech people for bringing this place back to life.

Had to be the week that I got about 30 posts in, seeing as there were topics that I could actually contribute to!:(

Still, technical stuff ups happen...

I have lost a week out of my life and some of the threads now missing offered some very good tips and hints on travel although it is more important that the site is now up and running....

Great to see the site back! There were quite a lot of interesting and informative posts over that last week but in the end sa long as AFF is up and running then most of us are happy campers.

I am sure anat0l will post it all again when he has the chance. He is quite busy this weekend.

From memory I have lost ~100 posts so it was a huge posting week for me.

Finally able to access this site after a week thinking I was going to have thousands of posts to plough through. Now only a handful.
Still 2.5 hours until boarding in the CX FRA lounge.

I probably lost 50,.. and the only reason i noticed was reading the 300 post club thread and realising how close i was :)

Gah. That's all I have to say.

I lost at least 30 posts, and my rank has been demoted back to a Member (rather than Established Member). :(

I know that it is pretty easy (although the most simplistic method is also the most non-sensical) to get the rank back, but like most people here I'm trying to remember what I posted (viz. which topics, of which some have completely disappeared off the map now) and why I posted it.

Seeing as today is the last day of the current QF sale, I will post up the SC run info back in the same Qantas sales thread that I put the original post in. I'll leave it up to the mods if they think it is worthy of a thread of its own, although given that prices do evolve it may or may not be a great idea.

As they say in many movies, "stand by...."
