A big hello to everyone!
Hence the title, please don't laugh! I did join back in 2007 and made a couple of posts and now have returned and hope to be an active member of the forums, which I read on a daily basis (and have done for some time!)
Have been a very active member over at FT over the years also, but now find a lot of it too US based, so hope I can contribute more here instead.
Travel for FF programs for me was never something I took seriously at all, until a huge change in my own business structure and now travel quite frequently both interstate and overseas on a regular basis.
So far this year I have been to various Australia cities, the US (twice) and shortly off to Malaysia, London, Paris, Italy, Greece, Middle East, coughet!
I am a big fan of Virgin and now through my business and the amount of travel being undertaken, in direct contact with a few people directly under the CEO. It has made for much simpler arrangements and make things for me run more smoothly.
Work is very important to me and I'm not ashamed to say it. I am very lucky to be in a industry that I love and the opportunities that go with it. I have a fantastic supportive spouse and we make a great team! Family are also very important to me, but as I don't live close, another excuse for travel!
I live in Melbourne, married, no children and 1 cat.
I look forward to being a part and hopefully can join in at some stage some of the meetings.
