A New Qantas.com/AnySeat Redemptions/New Uniform

Evening,

Come 01JUL, Qantas is expected to relaunch Qantas.com with a new look. Unsure of any further details at this stage... although one would hope they would look at new menus, fixing all the bugs, introducing better seat maps and updating all the outdated information (especially concerning the Qantas fleet).

Also, come July, as widely expected Qantas will launch AnySeat redemptions and either announce or begin rolling out a new crew uniform. I understand the colour blue will feature prominently in the new uniform.

In other news Qantas will cancel and make further adjustments to LAX services for the period 22JUN-29AUG. This will once again involve reducing BNE-LAX from a daily service to 6 times weekly and reducing a number QF149/8 flights.

Finally, domestic-configured A330-200 VH-EBJ has commenced trans-continental flying operating select MEL-PER-MEL services. This aircraft features a 2x2x2 Millennium offering in the Business cabin.

I hope they don't go all "flashly" with the new website, literally.

Nothing worse than trying to lookup timetables etc. on an airline website with flash or some other fancy technology that takes forever to load. Particularly if o/s and using public internet which can be slow.

I hope the new qantas.com is new and revitalized, but they MUST keep it simple. Fingers crossed.

BTW did I mention I hate flash based websites?

What a shame... no new website as predicted. Perhaps it will be implemented sometime in the near future.

That is just as shiny and horrible as before. What was the point of changing? Typical Qantas bollocks effort.

Silver... i am sure it looks better on women with dark hair not blonde.
But hey the women generally choose the uniform that they think looks good for hem. Oh well we will see.
