Nice one, Cruiser.
And far enough away from RL, to not hear the grunts and screams.........

It was a great game to watch Angelique Kerber win

It was a fabulous match to watch live - crowd involvement from go to whoa was amazing - way too many one sided women's finals in recent years - several with Serena on top - so this was a pleasant change. Unforced errors - Serena 46 / Angie 13 - right there is the story of the match.

Stats here:

Tonight it's off to what will hopefully be a 5 hr 5 setter - but Andy is going to need to lift another gear if he wants to finish on top - I think Novak has won 11 of their last 12 meetings - we will be in La Camera from 5 till 7 if anybody is in neighbourhood.

Look closely in Pic 1 Tommy - hidden in shade under umbrella to left - Pure South - was a wonderful experience. We religiously do both Pure South and Waterfront each year - both fabulous.

My bad bro. I just guessed based on the fact that Bear Brass do a water taxi to sporting events package.

I don't do packages Tommy - unless it is inviting you to join me - I understand that involves a 'package' deal.

Novak 6-1 in the 1st - if you think he looks a cut above the rest then maybe this might just explain:

And in the women's:

Just to tidy up some restaurant thoughts. We did 3 nts over weekend and frequented 3 different restaurants on Southbank:

Friday - Waterfront - Food EXCELLENT / wine list EXCELLENT / service SPECTACULAR - 5***** - 100% reco

Saturday - Pure South - Food EXCELLENT / wine list EXCELLENT / service SPECTACULAR - 5***** - 100% reco

Sunday - La Camera - Food EXCELLENT / wine list EXCELLENT / service VERY ORDINARY - 1* - try at your own risk
Fault 1 - The mangled the cork during extraction from 2008 Hollick Cab Sav - a gazillion young kids working their - none with any idea how to extract a cork - took them 15mins to r**t around and finally get decanted bottle on table.
Fault 2 - No cheese plate on offer - specialist Italian restaurant with no cheese platter? - give me a break!
Fault 3 - Coffees delivered to table cold - goddam how hard is this?

Can also recommend Pure South. Have had a great time there in the past.
