Hi everyone,
I've kinda lurked around here for quite a while, I've been drawn back as I have a rather killer set of flights coming up.
SYD - DUBAI - LHR - BUDAPEST (return)
Managed to get business class (you guys call it 'J' right?) on Qantas & BA, I usually fly economy and only upgrade when I have the points but this set of flights was just too crazy for me. I'm pretty much flying across the world for a lunch and a one day conference.
I think the craziest thing I've done to date was a SYD - SHANGHAI return with not even a full day there, ugh.
I've requested a first class upgrade on the return leg of this flight, fingers crossed, it would be the first time I've flown at the pointy end!
For years I just flew whichever airline was the cheapest then a couple years back I realised that I could be getting points etc so I've sort of consolidated carriers between Singapore and Qantas.
I'm a Silver Qantas FF but with the above trip I'll be Gold after the first leg, I think by next year I might even go one higher.
Anyway, that's me!
