Quick question. My last stay has shown on my account but with zero points. Is this normal and will be corrected or should I follow it up and if so how? Appreciate any assistance.

Re: How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

I've seen them post as 0 initially then a couple of days later the correct points have posted - I just presumed it was part of their process and I didn't normally notice it.....

Appreciate the advise. I hadn't noticed this before probably because of limited stays and me rarely checking. Thanks

I'd check regularly to make sure you've been credited for the stay

If it's from Fiji, then that's to be expected. I have a 7 night stay spending $3K, so I am keen to get the points.

Their admin in processing stays is appalling.

Re: How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

Had an unusual experience with stay in New York recently. Stayed in Doubletree for a week which was just ok but had an overnight stay in Albany during the week. Got credit for Albany but not New York initially as they couldn't understand that I could possible have 2 rooms in 2 different places at the same time. Explained to a lovely lady that I wasn't keen to pack everything up in New York for a quick overnight trip to Albany. Eventually got credits for both though I think I'm owed some bonus points...must chase that up

+1. I ended up having to send a copy of my invoice to HH to get my points (and given it was about 85,000 I wasn't going to let that go unclaimed).

Last straw after a long list of service issues during my stay. That's one Hilton I will not be going back to!

I was waiting for one of my recent BKK Millennium stays to post. I checked on the Hilton website and it was showing nil points. All of the other stays before and after had already posted including to Qf. Had to submit a missing point claim and hopefully it will be picked up soon.

Well the entry was updated and the points credited to my account.

Now I have a Hampton Inn entry that has the base points and the gold bonus but nothing for the fixed miles which is selected in my account. I understand it is supposed to be 100 miles. I'll wait and see if that is updated.

What airline program?

e.g. Hampton Inn stays will not credit to QFF at all.

Good point I had QF. What about DJ?

No miles for DJ with Hampton Inn. In fact, you don't get much at all with Hampton, except cheap rooms!

On a 4 month trip the cheap stay is what I'm after :) Thanks for the advice.

This has happened to me as well. Was told it could take 3 weeks to be fixed and I need this stay to get me over the line for another year of Diamond.

Does anyone know when downgrades are processed each year? Is it on Jan 1?

I have just been doing some sorting with the Diamond desk. They have managed to include 2 extra stays and about 5500 extra points for me. I will be happy when these actually arrive in my account as it will push me over the line.

All correspondence has been over night and they are saying 'Please allow 48 to 72 hours for the points to be updated in your account online.' which is a lot better than the 3 weeks mentioned by trippin_the_rift.

I'm keeping ALL receipts and details next year :!:

Looks like a stay I had on the weekend is not going to credit, I had day use of the room with my name on the booking but not part of the master booking, colleague used it that night and we got diamond benefits like having Breakfast in the restaurant the next day no issue. On checkout they offered to add my number to another room so I could get the points going to waste (had 6 rooms in total), will be interesting to see if any credit, cannot complain about the service though!

I keep having stays with multiple rooms credit as zero points/zero stays (and the stays are more important). Sending the receipt to the HHonors email address gets it resolved in a couple of days.
I can only guess their systems are not that good.
