A330 international business

So, my first ever A330 QF business class trip in 1 2 1 config. Off to Honolulu in an hour or so.
Quite excited to try it out.
Hope to get dinner on board. The Sydney J lounge has an insipidly-coloured but surprisingly tasty red curry and a rather sad-looking mac cheese on offer. (Mrs D let me try her curry... it was very good)
Sparkling is local bubbles, not champagne but that is pretty much par for the course out of Oz.

Any tips for my on-board experience????

I am incredibly lucky to flying up the pointy end and getting a flat bed for the price of an economy ticket. And, I am sitting in the lounge with unlimited food and refreshments. My bad

Flew back into OZ on the A330 last night. Food good, crew good. Entertainment controller under a flip up panel under your arm. I forgot about that...
Toilet space slightly lacking, maybe only two for business class. But I didn't explore was too tired.

For my next flight, if I get another 1980s left on my seat, I'm wondering if there might be a chance to swap with someone else. Hence wondering if there are multiple versions handed out on each flight.

Yeah I've wondered about this too. Maybe next time I'll ask the CSM if they have any other amenity kits.

I believe they hand out one version for a couple of months and go to the next design after they have used them all up.That’s based on my experience with my 5-6 flights in business last year.

I see the OP got the 2000s version and I got the 1980s version a few days apart. So perhaps it is by route or something.
But it seems clear that the same version will be given to all on the one flight.

I wasn't aware of the random thing.
