Just booked this in for a trip onwards to KIX for March next year.

Will be our first A350 flight. Looking forward to checking it out even if I will be asleep for the most part.

I have flown on a A350 yet....

Will have to make one happen sooner rather than later

I was able to snag a J seat this morning on the inaugural CX A359 service HKG-PER on Sunday. I will move my SQ J seats to another day.

I assume I will be rubbing shoulders with many 'journalists' and there will be a live cross on one of the local Perth television stations...

I continue to look at the availability on HKG-PER on a random basis as part of a return from one of my ventures into SE Asia. Almost all of the one ways exCMB now routinely route CMB-HKG-MEL-PER on the less expensive fare classes. Well I do prefer to arrive into PER in daylight hours, but it does seem to price CX out of my budget. Hopefully the 359 has more seats than the 330..... I did suggest to MPC that perhaps they should swap one of the low volume HKG-MEL flights for an additional HKG-PER, but I other than acknowledging the "suggestion" being forwarded I don't expect to see anything else.

Oh yes - my choice MH Z class CMB-KUL-DPS and JQ DPS-PER. More status and points for both CX and QF and a bit less cost.

Happy wandering
Fred
