Here's the OW lounge information:

American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia Premium Lounge
Location details: Main Terminal, inside security Concourse E, 5th level.
Opening hours: Daily: 13:00-21:00

From what I've read and seen, this is a "private" OW lounge and doesn't follow normal admission rules.

Has anyone been able to access the lounge?

(Reviews are VERY plain ... but in some ways would be a step up from the Admiral's clubs in MIA).

Bring back the Flagship lounge in MIA!!

Seems like a good way to screw the alliance, creating lounges that members of the alliance can’t use, unless you’re specifically flying with one of them. Shame on BA.

from the email I got re the new AA service MIA-BCN-
More Comfort

American Airlines invites Admirals Club members, One Day Pass holders and qualifying
customers
to visit the newly opened Miami joint Premium Admirals Club
lounge on their day of travel. For business or pleasure, you will appreciate an
oasis of peace. You'll also enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi,
cyber cafes, and business centers equipped with PCs, copiers and global
printing.

The link to qualifying customers does include the usual OW requirements.it doesn't state though whether you have to be on a BA,IB or AA service but what else is there out of MIA?Possibly might have to be on an international service.I will email and ask.

This IS the old Flagship AA lounge.
Situated in Terminal E, is still walkable to the Terminal D gates (mostly what AA uses), and in fact probably closer to some than the Terminal D AC.

There is a new Flagship Lounge under construction in Terminal D according to some FT threads, latest opening date is around September.

Just noting in drron's post AA's use of the (capitalised) phrase Premium Admirals Club lounge. Does the word Premium imply a new level between Admirals Club and Flagship lounges, or does it merely have marketing connotations :?:
