AA earn on MU ?

hi

i booked BNE-PVG-MEL J class on QF codeshare with MU.

agent could not add my AA # when checking in and said there was no agreement with AA.

Anyone know if the QF codeshare with MU is eligible for AA points ?

Without looking at aa.com the answer is almost certainly no.

Typically, within oneworld, a flight must be both marketed and operated by a oneworld member to earn points with a oneworld airline.

Some programs have exceptions for their own (ie. non oneworld) partners. For example, a QF code on a EK operated flight would earn QF points but not earn AA miles. Similary, an AA code on a EY operated flight would earn AA miles (although not elite qualifying) but no QF points.
