i have 2 flights in Full F class coming up but they are
AMERICAN AIRLINES
OPERATED BY ALASKA AIRLINES

do i still get full SC?

bought though AA and with AA flight number on both services

flying on Thursday so if not i will refund and look at different fares

thanks in advance

Do you get points and SCs on a oneworld flight?

I was on Korean airlines metal, but had a JAL flight number on ticket and Boarding pass. I applied for my points and SCs but didn't get them. I complained and got a phone call from Qantas where the lady said "it's because it's Korean Airlines who aren't part of Oneworld."

I don't know the rules, but I thought I would get SCs for that flight, which is why I purposely chose the more expensive JL flight.

SO, I don't know how an AA on Alaskan metal is any different. Surely you would be like me and not get any QF points or credit.

I am just a tourist flyer and don't know much about these things though.

With Qantas, some carriers credit to Qantas regardless of the 'metal' of the flight. Other carriers do not credit unless the 'metal' is a oneworld carrier.

You need to check the individual airlines at the earning table here: Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions

American Airlines earns points/SC's regardless of whose metal you fly. However, most airlines (including JAL) have the following rule:
Excluded: Points and Status Credits are not earned on Codeshare Flights operated by airlines other than oneworld Alliance Airlines.

I earned a total of 360SC's on AS metal with AA code flying in F in October. As serfty said, as long as it's AA code, you're safe (and AS F is one of the nicer F around. Great crew and great service. Food is average, but booze is strong :))

Actually, the food I got on AS was really nice - veggies with a warm spinach dip for their "snack" service.

also AA's lounge at SFO i am guessing pre first flight
ONLY if you have one or more of:
  • Admirals/Qantas Club membership,
  • Flying internationally in First or Business on oneworld,
  • oneworld Sapphire/Emerald flying internationally same day,
  • Non AA based oneworld Sapphire/Emerald status flying oneworld or
  • one of the "right" partner Credit/Charge cards.
* I have dimmed the non relevant part of the above.

In re-reading i am realising you may be actually departing SFO on AS metal with an AA flight number - you do get access to the SFO "Boardroom" in concourse B in terminal 1.

In any case the point is moot as (unless you are inbound on AA/UA domestically,) you won't get near the Admirals Club in concourse E of terminal 3.

300 SCs sounds very much like you're in paid F - which will get you in to the AS Boardroom, regardless of whether you've paid for the AA or AS flight number.

I can check in for all my flights with AA yeah and they give me boarding passes for all 4 flights or do i need to check in with Alaska as well?

I did the same run, AA from SFO to LAX and vv, and AS from LAX to SEA and vv.

AA issued my SFO-LAX BP's and my LAX-SFO BP's. From memory, they also issued me LAX-SEA, but were not able to issue SEA-LAX. You can pickup the SEA-LAX BP from the service desk at SEA or the AS Boardroom. They're very good in there (and the lounge is nice too).

So you should be able to get SFO-LAX-SEAxLAX-SFO BP's in SFO, and then the SEA-LAX at AS Boardroom SEA.
