Father is OWE (QF Plat) and i was hoping someone on here can help? He wants to purchase a cheap economy ticket YVR-LAX. If he books it through AA and it is ticketed with an AA flight number, then will he be able to check a bag in for free? As per AA baggage policies, or do they only apply to AA ticketed and operated flights?

cheers gogo

Mrsdrron didn't have to pay for her bags on an AA codeshare on AS-she is WP on QFF.

Cheers drron,

I will get in contact with AA to confirm this? I am guessing it is best to speak to them in regards to this and not Alaska? Should he still check in at the Alaska desk? Or will that give him problems trying to prove that he is eligible for free baggage?
