Hi All,

Long-time reader, first-time poster here.

I have recently completed a DCIR22, including four domestic US flights on AA. These four flights were all booked into (A), however one flight has credited to my QFF account as ECONOMY SC and they other three have credited as DISCOUNT ECONOMY SC.

It was my understanding these flights booked into (A) should credit to QFF as First Class Status Credits, is this correct?

If so, could someone please offer advice on the best way to have the flights re-credited correctly?

Thanks,

It depends. If they were booked in A class due to upgrading , then it is perfectly correct and there is nothing to fix
If you booked and paid for a 1st class fare then you should phone Qantas and they will investigate and fix it

This is a longstanding quirk: A class segments on AA crediting as economy or discount economy. To be honest, it had seemed to be fixed recently.

As Dave said, give them a call and all will be fixed. You may need to submit boarding passes / stubs as proof. They accept scanned versions which you can e-mail to them.

Alternatively, go to Help - Feedback, select Frequent Flyer (for Category) and Claim Missing Points (sub-category), briefly outline the issue, and you will usually receive a response within 48-72 hours.
