I'm an Accor Advantage Plus member and I'm trying to book a room at the Sofitel Manila for 2 nights (4th to 6th of June)

The cheapest option (SUPERIOR ROOM, 1 King Size Bed) shows up at "Members' Red Hot Rooms" rate if I only book for 1 person @ AUD 286.38 + taxes
, however if I book for 2 people (in the same room) then the "Red Hot Rooms" rate reverts to "Members Advance Purchase Rate" which is AUD 336.95 + taxes...

I booked at Red Hot Rooms rate for 2 people many times in the past and never had any issues... I guess I could just book for 1 person and get away with it however as an Accor Platinum I will get lounge access and I'm concerned they may not let 2 people into the lounge if the booking is for 1 person only...

Any ideas / suggestions to get around this issue?

Do a phone booking. They should sort it easily.

Thanks for the suggestion - did that and it worked although it took forever as they had to call the hotel, get their approval and override the system... anyway all good now :)

Great that it got sorted M@rco. I only us the phone as a last resort & then wonder why I didn't do it earlier. Enjoy Manila I've never been there but the prices look expensive.
