Anyone noticed recently, essentially no NON HA flights in J at all to oz?

I could swear there were multiple from DFW - BNE for example...

whats happened? is it related to the merger? or people burning points on QF due to recent news? or just changes in allocations to AA on QF?

Yes there is a big difference.A couple of weeks ago there were often 2 J milesAAver awards LAX-BNE on the same flight but now virtually none.Still an F award at the 330 day mark.
However I see no difference Asia-US or Asia-Europe so possibly AFF is its own downfall!

yea there were lots of DFW to BNE as well. Not sure why it disappeared, as in, all disappeared.

Award space becomes very limited after the holidays in the US since many families gather together and discuss their future trips.

It s more than that though. You could see BNE-LAX-BNE Aawards frequently 3-6 months out.Now there are none.

yea so i was wondering if something else is going on. In addition to drron's experience, about 4 weeks ago, I could see at least 60 days worth of 3 x J, all were 3 pax.... and now, zero. Totally zero, no matter how far out. And those were not flights on HA.

Is it related to the merger with US Airways such that they are waiting for the new management to set the availability? The merger closes nedxt week so see if things alter after that.

Dale.

Possibly... I've noticed that AA C space for SWU upgrades have been non-existent for most of next year, even on routes that are usually empty upfront.

I'm already debating whether or not I want to requal. for EXP next year. Not worth the $5K+ if SWUs are going to have fare restrictions and there will be more EXPs on the upgrade lists.

I hope its not too restricted, otherwise would be terrible, esp now us airways members will be redeeming as well....

When QF cosied up to EK they did not load the awards via DBX until official confirmation.Whereas AA loaded them straight away so for a few weeks you could get 2 F Aawards via DBX to Europe a week out.So funny things happen.
