    • More Ways to Earn Miles
AAdvantage members can now earn AAdvantage miles on all American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia flights.* And the miles earned for flights on all three airlines count toward elite status qualification.

In addition, when you fly discount economy fares on any British Airways flight or any Iberia transatlantic flight, you will now earn 100% of the base miles flown — just like when you fly on American.

Plus, AAdvantage Executive Platinum® and AAdvantage Platinum® members will now earn their elite status bonus miles for all of their travel on British Airways. View the details on more ways to earn miles.
    • More Flights For Award Travel
Your miles can be redeemed for all flights on American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia.* The three carriers' combined route network serves over 400 destinations in more than 100 countries, to give you more convenient schedule options when you are ready to claim a well-deserved award.
Certainly a good result from the AA,BA,IB tieup that was ratified recently.

Just got the email myself. It makes Aadvantage even better.

Now all we need is an miles upgrade ability (or dare I suggest it, SWU) on BA and IB to really top things off.

Your wish is granted-
AAdvantage Participating Airlines Upgrade Awards | AA.com

Effective October 1, 2010 AAdvantage members may use AAdvantage miles to upgrade on American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia flights. Miles may be used to upgrade yourself or anyone you designate* at the time of ticketing.

Codeshare flights marketed by American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia and operated by any of the three carriers are also eligible to upgrade.

Each one-way upgrade is valid up to three segments from an individual published full fare ticket booked directly with American Airlines.

You're quick on the draw ddron. I just found the table myself and was coming back to edit my post, but too late!

I like the 30000 mile upgrade on BA from WT+ to Club World between Europe and South Pacific. Often BA have some decent deals on WT+, which pick up 1.5 EQP. Good for private trips.

The only drawback I can see is that the elite bonus for Platinum and EXP on BA is for transatlantic only. Note how Gold don't get this - reflecting BA's continued shunning of Ruby.

Oops, just saw that it is W only that can be upgraded, though that is far from clear on the table as the heading simply states Premium Economy to Business and not Full Fare Premium Economy to Business (as it does with Full Fare Economy (Y,B) to Business).
There are still benefits, though, as there are some good 'B' fare deals out there.
