We all like to criticise FAs and the AA ones usually come in for a lot of complaints on the grounds of poor service. My little tale really puts the lie to that.

I recently flew AA in J between CDG and MIA. The 777 was full in J but service was quick and reasonably efficient. After the meal, one of the FAs stopped for a bit of a chat about many things, including Australia. She remained friendly for the remainder of the flight.

After immigration, as I headed for baggage collection, I was surprised to see her waiting there to greet me. I had left my Bose headphones on the plane, and rather than just turn them in to lost property, she had decided to try and find me as I came to get my bag.

That, as I said, is above and beyond. I have commended her to AA. I hope it is noticed.
