Seems like a reasonable deal. But off peak season for Maldives though.

Good fares, the dates are perfect for me for a quick trip to Male but it's indeed a very long way flying economy

I have three free Sheraton nights which I can use at the Sheraton Full Moon Resort and Spa Maldives - decisions decisions.

I don't think that property worth the potential hell trip in Y on EY.

Yes we've been to the Sheraton Full Moon a few years back and it wasn't good at all. It could have been any resort on any other destination - not the blue turquoise waters that the Maldives are famous for. That said, I hear the Sheraton Full Moon has improved vastly over the past few years with a new Platinum Lounge area (serving breakfast, nibblies, afternoon drinks, plus Platinums can elect for the full breakfast in the Feast Restaurant). But the hell trip in Y SYD-AUH and back that is very tough to deal with. Usually a stop in Asia (Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or even Bangkok) makes getting to Male not that difficult in Y.

I got a good rate once with SQ on the A380 SYD-SIN (3 nights stopover) then SIN-MLE on A330 all for $AU1,100 return. Paid extra for emergency exit seats and had an enjoyable trip (as much as Y can be enjoyable ).
