I am a Qantas club member/Silver FF and will be flying through Vienna with BA in July. BA do not appear to have a lounge at Vienna airport so I am wondering if I am able to access another lounge ( or is it only BA/AA lounges)

Thanks

Unfortunately not.

Partner lounge access is limited to British Airways lounges (Terraces and Executive Club lounges) and American Airlines Admirals Club lounges.

Third party lounges are not included.

Although, as always, YMMV :)

I had success in Budapest and Tel Aviv with associated lounges - smiling nicely helps :)

If you were a QF WP, Budapest would be no problem as it's a Malev Lounge and is part of the OW Network. I couldn't get into the BUD Malev Lounge as a QP Silver.

Apologies, I should clarify: At the time of those events, I was a QP PS.

I know I am Platinum but I have had success gaining entry into lounges when I should not have had entry. Smiling and being pleasant goes a long way.

And just for clarity, many previously BA Terraces lounges are now BA Galleries lounges - same rules, though, as odoherty explained.
