Accor ALL has now entered into a partnership with Kris Flyer. Accor don’t seem to mind encouraging competing reward programs.

A pretty weak one, it has to be said. Points transfer only, 2000 ALL to 1000 KF points which values KF points at ~6cpp, or a 4500 to 1000 point transfer rate from KF to ALL which values each KF point at ~13cpp.

Even then its pretty bad value.

Also remember that you have to lock your Accor to the airline and there's pretty hefty wait time to swap around. (Otherwise I would've matched QR already).

It's nice as an additional bonus if you're a Krysflyer only, but if you're holding multiple FF, this is not a good value to lock your Accor account to.

Yes, those Hotel -> Airline transfer often are. Ok if you only stay at a particular chain and would otherwise have orphaned points.

I actually haven’t looked to closely at this arrangement. I was signed up to the original Accor/FB partnership. Took ages to get that unlinked (there wasn’t a “button” like there is for QF). Anyway, happy with the QF arrangement for now.

However, I can see that you can do a manual transfer 2000 Accor to 1000 SQ (presumably 1500 for now). Which is €40 for those SQ points. If they keep SQ points alive(?) then it could be money (points) well spent?

SQ is hard expiry. No such thing as keep points alive like QFF.

Oh interesting, so this is strictly a transfer and not a connection. i just assumed this was like other partnership on Accor where they lock you in to that FF.

Does the KrisFlyer account and Accor account need to be under the same name to do the transfer? My partner has ~6k KF points that she will never use and will expiry shortly so would be good if I could transfer into my Accor account
