Accor plus free night

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if accor plus complimentary night is renewing every calender year or every 12 months from start of your member shipment. Thanks.

Generally, it is applied to your account a few days after paying the annual renewal. So, basically, your membership year.

From Membership Year I believe - I had Platinum Diamond Gold Plated Premier super dooper top tier or whatever they call it via a CC - not sure which one but it was discontinued in 2017 - was that Prestige? Anyways Accor called me and asked did I want to pay AD259 to re-new and have a free night on them - I said no thanks - she then continued I had not used free night in 2016 so she would roll that over so 2 free nights in 2017 for $259 so I took it up - must get around to using those 2 nts this time.

I had exactly the same call, exactly the same response, exactly the same offer and exactly the same end result! Now I just need to remember to use the bloody nights this year!!

I used the free night, and my m'ship year ends at 31 Dec ... no call for me! I got platinum via AMEX and only requal for gold during the year. I was sorta hoping they might comp my Plat one more time.

Maybe not.

My membership via Amex expired Nov. I also didn't receive a call, so phoned them myself and was able to retain Platinum. So if you think you might use it give them a call. They obviously aren't that organised in following up expiring memberships.
