Has anyone else had problems with AA not updating their AAWards account when using FF points? About 6 months ago I used 62.5K AA points to book a J flight from the US back to MEL, but am now finding my account is not updating. Firstly the points are still not deducted from my account balance, secondly the flight doesn't come up under my account. I can however find the flight via the record locator where it shows as ticketed and the points deducted are the correct amount. I get the same thing on the Oz and US websites.

I've now called AA twice, and emailed once, asking when my account will be updated to reflect the correct points and flight information. On the second call I ended up on hold for 20 minutes, then told that operator couldn't help me before then transferring me to another line where I was on hold for another 30 minutes before I hung up. A second email has now been sent.

Would be interested to know if anyone else is having similar issues.

Re the booking not coming up - is it your QFF or an AA number in it?

I ask because my bookings having a QFF number have not shown up for several months. I can still access them and select seats etc.

I think it's under my AA number as they were AA points I used. I can't select seats, which has been another issue. Can't do it online, rang AA who said it's because the carrier is Hawaiian Airlines so I need to ring HA. Rang HA who told me they couldn't do it because it's an AA award booking so to ring AA. At that point I gave up. I'm in business (first) so hoping any seat will be okay, and it's an all daytime flight so won't be needing to sleep.
