Have not long returned from a trip to Paris where we made the mistake of booking the Adagio Access Paris Bastille which is in the Accor Chain on rue Moreau in Bastille. Wanting to warn others who are misled by their advertising.
This Aparthotel bears NO resemblance to the photos on the official hotel website at all - they are not even indicative of the style and quality of the hotel. They seem to be random photos chosen from somewhere and apparently stating "non binding" excuses everything. If you want a true idea of this place then google Le 300 as this is EXACTLY what you will get. There is a massive difference in the quality between the 2.
Accor bought it early this year and reopened it in March 2013 but with no changes at all - could not even be bothered changing the sign on the street! Only way you know you are in the right place is a piece of paper on the wall.
As for the rooms/ hotel:
- there is no wifi (free or not) and the cable is paying (their own website says free Internet)
- beds are rock hard and thin mattress. You get 2 pillows, sheets, a blanket (if you're lucky like me then it will have a rip in it) and a bed cover.
- hotel could not even provide a jug/ kettle for use
- rooms contain no information at all about the room, the hotel, its features, instructions for use etc or even the area.
- there is no desk areas except for the single bed rooms
- if you are there for 4-7 days then there is no cleaning/ servicing (and no information is provided on where to put rubbish, how to request cleaning or extra pillows etc)
- there are no alarm clocks - which they advertise having.
- rooms were not well maintained in some regards - crooked pictures, heavily marked walls etc
- there is no computer/ facilities available for guests.
I highly recommend that people look elsewhere for a place to stay. I am surprised that Accor are prepared to have their name against this hotel.
And yes - we raised our issues with the hotel manager during our stay and since in writing and have basically been told too bad.
