The free feature that disapeared from CMT, has now made it's way to Qantas' booking ref. page....

"Update calendar"

I just tried it, and it works; good to have it back!

Apologies if this has already been noted elsewhere.. I haven't been on AFF lately.

Thanks Flashware. I haven't noticed it before, I've always had to stick mine in through checkmytrip.com. It's a handy feature! :D

No problem.

I used to take advantage of it on CMT extensively to dump the booking into my Outlook calendar... then they made us pay for it!

So it's great that Qantas are now offering it for free :D

(About time, too.. Jetstar have a simple .ics file you can load up :))

Then I had to manually enter them. (A bit of a scrooge)

Well I've uploaded some flights coming up but Lotus Notes isn't a huge fan. :( All sorted in the end though. If Jetstar and Qantas can do it, it's time for Virgin to get with the times. ;) Does Virgin use a booking code that we can view itineraries from externally. (ie. Sabre)?

How do I access this feature. I have gone into my booking but can't see anything that would indicate "add to calendar"?

I believe it is an option on the final booking screen that says add to outlook contacts.

Program not great for Lotus Notes.
Need to select the 'hide icon' or otherwise it won't complete and attempt to deinstall

I agree, it has been there as long as I can recall, and yes, it is on the final confirmation/booking screen.

Thanks guys. That would explain it. It's a shame I can't view it under PNR lookup but it's only one ozfest booking so it's not hard to manually add. ;)

Aubs, I perservered and installed the full program from the net and did a reinstall. It took a couple of minutes to process each entry and then all was well. It was getting a little confused between the Network and Local copies.

Simple question. but the answer has escaped me. How do you get inforetreiver to offset the timezone differences when you travel to a different timezone?

Ie, when you fly SYD-PER you don't take off at 1400 and land at 1500 (as it would show in outlook. You take off at 1400 and land at 1700. Then when you get into PER and adjust your time zone on your phone it will show that you took off at 1200 and landed at 1500 (still making sense) (well to me anyway)

From what I can see, Infotreiver simply inserts information into your Calendar. As most schedules and tickets are published showing local times (arrival/departure) this is what is used.

Makes for interesting calendar views when travelling across the Pacific from OZ to the US.
