Just checking if anything has changed wrt adding a Plus Bundle to an existing flight after it has already been booked.

The backstory is that my ticket was booked along with a bunch of others for a wedding in Fiji next year. I plan to split my booking away from everyone else's and am prepared to pay the change fee and add the bundle... but I'm not so sure it's worth it if I then have to pay the whole fare again... e.g. I could simply go buy a new ticket and throw away my old ticket for less if that's the case!

Does anyone have experience?

Cheers!

As far as I know, it is not possible at all to add a Plus Bundle after booking. (Sorry, I realise that wasn't the answer you were hoping for...)

I think the best bet would be to buy a separate with the plus bundle, and then use your original ticket to book an empty seat next to yourself, and complete online check-in. Hopefully that seat sticks long enough for it to remain empty at boarding time.

Ah well, might give the call centre a call and see what they say... and will report back when I do.

I like the idea of a shadow, a $300 one though!
