Additional card holder question

I'm fresh meat when it comes to this frequent flyer biz. I just received my credit card today and it came with an additional card holder application. So I'm assuming my wife will actually be earning her own FF points separate to mine when she goes shopping at Woolies with her own EDR number on the back of her credit card? Could I put my number down on the application form so that all FF points go in to my account?

Edit: Or could I just give my wife my EDR card and she scan that each time she shops and uses the credit card as per normal with out scanning her own EDR number on the back of the credit card? That would work yeah?

I don't have one, but I've always understood the credit card points would earn to your account, while the barcode on the back would earn the spend over $30 to her account.

QF allows family transfers anyway so shouldn't be a big deal.
