Good Morning fellow members.

Just a question regarding seat selection. I am QF SG and have just selected my seat 23A for QF460 MEL-SYD sunday night (T-80). At the present time my booking is linked with a friend who is also flying with me but he is only a NB. I have rung QF and they say all the linking does is make sure we have seating next to eachother when we check-in. Does this mean that when I check-in my companion will get 23C (currently un-occupied) or will my seat assignment change so that I can sit next ot him as he is NB? At the moment I think he can only select up to row 30 something at T-80 any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

TCP'ing (or Linking) bookings does not ensure you being seated together.

If you wish to be have the best chance of sitting next to each other I suggest you look for available pairs A/B or J/K that you can both get at.

When i compared my seat map to his, mine showed everything up to row 23 available however I did log on at exactly T-80. When I checked the seat map with his details about 45 minutes after my selection all I could see was row 25. After I changed our seats to row 25, I logged in again to check my map and all the up front seating to about row 27/28 has been taken except for the windowless row 24. So I am assuming had I checked his map at T-80 or very close to he too would've gotten row 23.

i usually enjoy the peace and quiet............others down the back are there for a reason....

Hey Sprucegoose,

can't enjoy much peace and quiet up the fron of the 767 in Y if they are using the bassinets lol!

On a similar topic - whenever I (was bronze) book a flight with my wife (Silver QP) via her FF login, it always seems that I am the primary flyer - does anyone have thoughts on that
