Morning,
Does anyone know how far in advance of flying that QANTAS will allow seat selection.
We flew MSP/AKL/BNE/MSP in August and were able to select seats? We've just completed Dec bookings for the same route and were able to select at the time of booking. The only way we can select seats for December travel (just booked) is to pay $20 per seat selection.
Many thanks
eden

Presumably you are referring to LAX/AKL/BNE flights on Qantas?

As posted the $20 fee applies to International flights and has been in place since April.

It is complimentary in the First, Business and Premium Economy cabins and in Economy Class for Platinum, Gold or Silver Qantas Frequent Flyers, equivalent oneworld Frequent Flyers, and for all customers travelling in the same booking.

Thank you. I couldn't work out why I was able to select seats free of charge in August but not now. You said the magic words," F/F and Silver". They key was logging in under my F/F number and pulling up the booking and then selecting the seats.
Many thanks.
