Were you in J AP? To not get breakfast or lunch on that flight is pretty poor.

I was in F Kermatu.
Breakfast was available, but I didnt like the menu.
So waited a bit then went to the bar at back of the 380 and had mini croissants.
Today the beef was tasty, with vegetables.
Had 2 prawn and mango cups too.
Depends on Cayote what he aims for of course.
Cameras on plane were top notch.
SIN and DXB and LHR lounges probably better than all Au ones, I havent used them but I have said my piece on this.
Have a great trip Cayote.

Coyote25, this is why I say go for Seat 2A/2K, because the screen is right there, in front of you.
If you go for 1A/1K, the screen is on the bulkhead, so that bit further.
If you do take off while its still daylight, 7pm might still show up on the onboard camera, so you can take pixs.
The pics are worth it.
Seat 2A/2K is surreal.
Enjoy the trip.

Thanks AustraliaPoochie I've selected 2K for the A380 MEL-SIN-DXB flight based on this advise.

Still kept the 1A seat for DXB-NBO 777-300ER flight for now. But might change that one as well but is there a big difference for seats between the flight types? It's only a 5 hour flight so not as big a deal for getting the 'best' first class seat.

If you love being an arm chair pilot re watching camera, row 2 still.
777 row 1 good for personal space size, but I think ICE screen is in armrest... could be wrong here but my SYD - CHC 777 row had screen in armrest.
Have to put it away for takeoff and landing and when SeatBelt light is on.

Was told to put it away on landing on an EK 777 plane.
Probably during turbulance too, most important I guess.
