Anyone interested in coming along to the Australian Open Tennis Women's Final in Melbourne with me? I've got a spare ticket which I'm trying to find someone to buy from me. It's on Saturday 26th January. PM for the details if you're interested.

I can also "guest" you into the "lounge".. the Aus Open Members lounge.

Thanks

Mods: hope you don't mind me asking people on the forum.

Given the event, is that an AFF grunt-together -- or maybe an AFF gruntering?

How a graceful game has been ruined.

Thought I'd give this a kick one more time and push to the top of the activity stream one last time...

Ticket for Women's Final at Aus Open tennis in Melbourne still available if anyone is interested, or even if you know anyone that might be interested. PM me for further details

Hi kevrosmith, can you PM price and details?

I've never been to the Aus Open and I'm keen... thanks.

Hi kevrosmith, can you PM price and details?

I've never been to the Aus Open and I'm keen... thanks.

I have purchased the ticket after a PM very early this morning and some SMS's.

Am really looking forward to going to the Aus Open for the very first time.

We will be at the tennis on Sunday evening, hoping for a Federer vs Djokovic final:)

Anybody going to finals on Sat or Sun please at least do it 'style'.

Early dinner at one of the good restaurants at Southbank then water taxi to the tennis centre - such a wonderful experience in our fair city.

If anyone is up going and up for a drink before or after the game, let me know.

I will probably be floating around a bar somewhere :p

Anybode else go last night - how good was that huh?

What did we learn? Did Rogers less than intense preperation finally take it's toll?

Or are the stronger young bucks just starting to finally get a hold of the master?

Heading there again tonight - who else will be there?

Well am home now and had a wonderful afternoon and evening thanks to kevrosmith offering the ticket for sale. He guested me into a lounge where we had a quiet drink before watching the Women's final.

Caught up with Cruiser Elite during the match so it was almost like an AFF do on the run.

Sorry we missed you marcoakis, I don't think any of us logged on to AFF in the afternoon. Hopefully we'll get to catch up next time.

Sorry I missed this thread! I was working last night ad again tonight. Here was my view for some of the game!

Yes was great to meet you last night Hvr - sorry I missed marcoakis and kevrosmith - I got tied up with an alcohol induced extended meeting in Chapel St on way to tennis and arrived right on 7:30.

Juat about to 'tub up' right now and head to Southbank for 'Lunner' prior to taking the water taxi up to the tennis centre.

FYI will be in seat E360 - 1st seat right behind top LH corner of Andy Murray's box tonight - Li Na's box last night - what fabulous seats - just like pointy end flying - if the heart desires strongly enough you can always devise a dastardly plan to secure premium seating.

Do tell. I was disappointed with all my seats this year.

Some photos from my tennis adventure.

First up, the first class seats, immediately behind the Melbourne logo on the court. I sat here whilst watching the presentation to the boy's winner.

A view from the lounge.

So this is where the Qantas singers went!

The view from my seat (which was very good thank you Kevrosmith).
