Returning yesterday from the FT OzFest DO, ADL-MEL, I boarded quite early and settled into 16C. Soon enough 16A and B turned up and I stepped into the aisle to let them get seated. While 16B was placing items in the overhead locker I briefly glimpsed something that looked familiar!

When seated I asked 16B if that was an AFF bag tag and he replied (with a little surprise that it had ben recognised) that it was. 16B was FlyboyAl (and I presume 16A was Mrs FlyboyAl). We exchanged some pleasantries then settled in for the flight.

A siginificant coinicidence just to see an AFF tag, a *big* coincidence to be seated right next door!

Footnote 1: Our ears were assailed for the last 15 minutes or so by possibly the most powerful set of lungs ever bestowed upon an infant! Poor girl was probably 2 or 3 years old, so it was slightly lower pitched than a 'baby' but boy did she give it to us!

Footnote 2: I now feel compelled to purchase an AFF tag or two - if still available.

Well the women in the exec lounge of the Sheraton Pudong think they are nice.Obviously thought it a little strange as i set one up on the breakfast buffet for a photo!

I saw some at Oz Fest last weekend :!:

Well on the flight MEL-ADL on Saturday there was me in 4C, then an AFFer 4D and his wife in 4E and karens in 5D.

Yeah there were a few at OzFest. :p

Haven't spotted any yet despite 7,000+kms travel, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled.

Yes, there were quite a few there unless I'm greatly mistaken. There were some pleasant comments from our guests who noticed the tags, including gregIAD and tom911 who asked about them while we were leaving ADL.

Mine will be spotted on QF093 Sunday June 13 to LA. Of course I will be dining in the First Class lounge for breakfast. What's recommended on the breakfast menu nowadays?

Still find it hard to go past the freshly prepared Eggs Benedict. Hmmm, could have made a tacky point there about another form of Benedict but so glad that I didn't.

I've got mine on my trusty Antler carry on... Lets see who can find me or me find them!
