Just out to lunch before and on the radio Air Asia X said there is a $99 sale on at the moment.

PER-KUL $99
MEL-KUL $99
OOL-KUL $99

October 09-March 10 with Christmas Blackouts. All fares include taxes also.

It seems to be across AirAsia's network also, you can fly one way in Malaysia for $2.50 all in:shock: Crazy.

Unbelievable! Just priced a mid-October return flight OOL-KUL-coughet return for under $A300 all up (taxes included), including checked baggage allowance and onboard meals. Now just trying to arrange a good online accom deal and I'll all set to go! Suppose it's better for Air Asia X to have bums on seats rather than flying empty.

That is insanely cheap. I'm trying to save up to go to the US, but this is incredibly tempting..

Now I'm waiting for the Malay government (if ever) to approve Air Asia for the MH's flagship KUL-SYD route

Right now more of a "Communication Error" Sale.
December is fully priced - Cheaper to fly MAS or Singapore Airlines if you live in Sydney.

Mid October, <300 return all in. Interestingly Mid week, the X class seats were only 4 dollars more - cheaper than my bogstar Cairns return.

Means I wont be booking any side trips - as they have locked down the dates I am interested in. Curious to know what Jetstar is planning or their load factors on midweek flights.

I think I might have booked a 4 day trip first week of October...

Not sure... the site crashed after I hit submit... it said not to rebook as the payment may have gone though.

So I guess I'll be surprised tomorrow if I'm going to KL or not. Yay!

I'm planning to move to Gold Coast in August anyway, so this seems like a great deal... now if I did book it where should I go from KL to take advantage of the $0.00 local fares?

I have booked two tickets return from D7 KUL<=>TSN/SHA for Easter 2010,
about $100 AUD per person return all inclusive, amazing ! :)

I recently booked MH SYD<=>KUL for Easter 2010 for $73X return, seems
to be a good deal for full service as well.

China trip flights booked

well I'm fairly confident I didn't book the early October trip I thought I had booked last night... which is good... althought not being able to confirm it (either by phone where I waited on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up, or by e-mail... no response yet) kind of sux.

I booked another trip for Halloween... this one even cheaper ($160 all in)

Now I'm thinking its KL to Langkawi, ferry to Penang and back to KL from there during my short stay in Malaysia...

I'm glad I waited.

--Russ

On the Australian Homepage it says "Fly to Singapore for FREE" which I thought was actually free considering all these new regulations that have come in? Is this Illegal?

Just booked two one ways.... KUL - LGK and PEN - KUL 15 MYR total...

Is end of October/early November a bad time to go?

thanks,
--Russ

Pretty much the same sale again: book 6 - 12 jul, travel 1 aug - 30 nov. Looks like they need to fill a few seats in the short term.

It can work out at around $130 MEL-KUL and $80 KUL-MEL if book then separately. Add on baggage and seat selection its around $250~ return

Good deal, not flying them unless they make those seats recline-able!

The no recline is a bit odd and means there's no way I'll spend any real money flying with them, but at that sort of price I'd put up with a lot.

Hi!
Do you know if Air Asia will be repeating this sale? I missed out by just one day ! grrr
