From the Bangkok Post

"Air France plans to spend hundreds of million of euros to upgrade its products and services to regain its market position and respond to competition from Persian Gulf and Asian carriers"

Air France to splash out on major facelift | Bangkok Post: business

i wonder if the QF/AF codeshare will be renegotiated now that QF has a codeshare with one of the Persian Gulf carriers.

They would be far better spending the money on pilot training and reassessing their safety culture

Bad taste I know, but "Air France" and "splash" aren't words I want to see together.

I see they've been losing a bit of money, so they really need to do something, but this change only affects premium cabins, they'll still be awful for everyone down the back.

they have these odd commercials on here at the moment with a guy lifting a girl up and twirling here around on the side of an infinity pool. nonsense really, doesnt matter how much they spend on their cabins - until they stop flying airliners into the sea their fortunes are unlikely to improve.

That information is already in the public domain.

The QF/AF codeshare will no longer operate once the QF/EK tie starts.
