The return fares ex-Australia to the US aren't too bad for the "new normal" fare structures - $2002 return to YVR or $2587 to ORD or IAH isn't awful. Sure I've paid sub-$2k for similar flights before, but that was in the Before Times.

You couldn't pay me enough to fly to LAX though.
