Hi

I have had a look at the partner airline earing table on the QFF website and see that QFF credits points and SC for flights flown on "eligible" oneworld flights. When it comes to IB, an "eligible" flight does not include codeshare on non-oneworld carriers. The oneworld website quotes Air Nostrum as a oneworld "affiliate" airline.

I have an upcoming flight on Air Nostrum (IB's regional franchise) on an IB flight number and an earning booking class. Does anyone know if QFF will credit points and SC for the flight?

Thanks in advance

I would assume it credits as it’s in the same boat (or plane?) as QantasLink - operated by Airlink, Eastern Australia Airlines or Sunstate Airlines. But can’t give any actual proof sorry.

Credited to QFF as per IB earning on our LONE4, MAD-TLS in September 2010.

I'm flying Air Nostrum mid March, so if you haven't flown before then I'll report back. I'm expecting SC's and points to credit to QFF.

Had an air nostrum operated IB flight last year MAD-WAW, as part of DONE. SC credited as per a normal IB flight.

Yes, it does.

Vueling, on the other hand does not.....even though they have the similar shareholders.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback. In Sept I'm flying from VLC to IBZ rtn for about $100 which should earn about 40SC. Seems like a good little earner to me. And the added bonus of flying in some different aircraft (CRJ200 and ATR72 I think)

Vueling is Iberia's Jetstar equivalent so no surprise

We have just returned from Europe & flew Vueling GRX-BCN & BCN-ORY. Pretty good all round - spanking new planes but a very typical sardine tight fit.

On time, clean & friendly FA's.

Wanted to fly IB however, the schedule & cost for our routes were a very big negative......they have made it an easy but a somewhat sad call to fly VY

Interesting while we were in Spain, Iberia pilots were holding mass strikes due to the plan to push on with the LCC to mid/long haul routes. They are objecting to be squeezed with reduced salary & conditions.......seems legacy issues are the same everywhere!

Reading the local press it appears the consensus is change or be consumed by the LCC tsunami.

Amaroo, could you acess the VIP Lounge at BCN with your QF Platinum card?

subharpoon, as we were flying VY I didn't even think of using a lounge......silly me:oops: I just assumed that since we were flying a non OW airline we would be buggered for lounge access.

BCN, has a very nice new terminal - I imagine the lounges would be nice.

We travelled Vueling in early Jan from BCN to ZRH and was able to access the lounge with QF Gold Card without any problems at all.

Thanks Tommm. Flying Vueling with IB Flight Number Orly-Barcelona-Mahon in June.
