To celebrate the launch of the new service, Air Pacific has released a super low internet only fares of AUD199.00 ow from the Gold Coast to Nadi and FJD299.00 ow from Nadi to the Gold Coast. These fares are on sale until 13 October, 2008 or until sold out and valid for travel 01 December, 2008 to 31 March, 2009. A blackout period applies between 6 December, 2008 and 26 January, 2009. Return is approx $A370 all in.

Note - Qantas/AA FF points are not earned on this fare type, and fare is completely non-changeable/refundable/transferrable etc.

Where did you see this? The Air Pacific website says that points are earned for this fare - and the QF website shows N as a booking class for which points are earned.

Hmmm. Looks to be a discrepency on the website.

But agree, if you go through the booking process, then it does show on the main screen that points are eligible to be earnt on the booking screen...
 
A colleague of mine received their updated NB QF card and in the letter, dated 4 September, it says "As a reminder you can each Status credits on eligible flights with Qantas, oneworld alliance airlines: American Airlines, British Airways . . . Royal Jordanian Airlines and Air Pacific [emphasis addded]."

Since when has Air Pacific been apart of OW?
 
Certainly Air Pacific is a "Partner Airline" of Qantas.

And it is not currently a member of the oneworld alliance.
