Now if you had $240 one way to UK in the title you might get more interest ;)

Having a play around with this sale and wondered why the advertised fares weren't coming up - sale starts tomorrow!

Ditto :p On the 13th. 3x 20-something girls. Watch out world :)

Honestly, it's not bad! I'm no Kate Moss, and the seats are wide enough. I always get one of the extra leg room seats so no problem there. Food is cheap and fills you up. Booze is expensive, but I don't drink on flights generally anyway. It's cheaper to get into the city from the LCCT, so there's a bonus there.

Splurge on the Hilton/Westin/LeMeridien once you get there for a whole lot less :p

Oh yeah I wasn't worried about the passenger side of it - just makes me nervous reading about airlines that have cabin crew earning more than some of the First Officers. . .

And get pinged for two alleged dangerous/illegal approaches to OOL in one week.

Yeah not to mention the re-roofing needed after their maiden flight from OOL....definetely thinking of coming back from KUL on EK J :D

I understand there was a third occurence by an A330 in late May. If they are all the same operator, it would be interesting to know why theyhave such an issue at OOL. Is there something unusual about procedures at that airport?

I have yet to fond that incident, however the last two weeks of summaries by the ATSB do seem to have a large number of A330s making unauthorised track diversions!

Back from PPrune.org - one theory was the lack of ILS at OOL

Hmm some of that is a little concerning. Add that in with the safety breaches I've noted (see the "safety of LCC" thread).... oh well, I'm not dead yet :)
