I know it happens quite a lot and it has happened again. I know there is nothing we can do and we just have to grin and bear it. But looking at the other side of the coin I go to the trouble of booking flights with a 767 and hate it when 734s or 738s get substituted somewhere along the way.

Anyway if anyone has access to the information I would appreciate it if you can tell me at what point in time QF549 was substituted. All flights looks extremely full this evening/tonight

Thanks for any assistance....

According to Flighstats it was scheduled with a 738, so may have changed a while back.

I understand, almost!

Now because of QF's lousy scheduling and even worse terms and conditions I have to be happy to have a 738, if anything at all. I know it is only a short flight. Anyway the CSM was not happy with the substitution either.

Now because of QF's lousy scheduling and even worse terms and conditions I have to be happy to have a 738, ifr anything at all. Just great.

I havn't looked up the flight number, but assume it's BNE-SYD or vv. It's a 90 odd min flight. Just enjoy it. If it was BNE-PER or BNE-NAN or BNE-(insert destination > 1500 miles) then perhaps I'd prefer a twin aisle plane.

Next weeks still seems to be a 767, but after the 551 seems to have the 767.

Look on the bright side, it was only a few minutes late.

.... I'll check this out when I get a chance ...

Personally I prefer 737s, I normally get row 4 - Great on 73H's - very good on 734's

Can't remember the last time I was allocated row 4! I have given up on seating allocations. I am getting further and further back in the cabin but I shouldn't expect any better on el cheapo airfares.

On the bright side all of my domestic flights this year have been on time or very close to it. I think the earlier departure from Brisbane is better and gives me a few hours extra to relax in Sydney.

As far back as 21st January QF549 yesterday was scheduled to be operated by a 73H.

Another aircraft substitution this time on QF544 from 767 to 737. I have seq #57 ~1 hour before flight so would not expect flight to be full.

Cabin class: J4 D4 I0 U0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N0 Q0

I hope I am not denied boarding. And by the way I have finally been allocated row 4. Most of this evenings flights appear to have light loads. Is that normal for this time of the year?

Light loads may explain a smaller plane.

But spare a thought for some folk flying on JQi mid Feb. Some JQ37 flights (SYD-DPS) have morphed from an A330 to an A320 complete with tech stop in Darwin.
