I did not see notice any Qantas ads.

Does anyone remember the commercial about flights to Greece with the Nana Mouskouri song "Memories, like the corners of my mind...."? Was that Olympic Airways or Qantas?

One of the best ads of all time was the Ansett ad where it started out with a bird in flight and it turned into an Ansett jet. They used some classical music for the background, "Morning" by Edvard Greig. A brilliant ad, so simple but so effective.

Their ads that used the Enya music were good also.

And "Loves Theme" will always be the Cathay Pacific music to me :)

Don't know if it was Nana or it being an airline ad. But OTC certainly used to use that song (e.g. this one YouTube - OTC Australia - The Way We Were (Australian ad, 1977))

My apologies. I thought it was an airline ad but yes it does bring back memories and there was an aircraft involved and I am almost certain that is Nana singing in the background.

I vaguely remember those ads reappearing on TV in recent years....
