Alaskan Airlines First Class - SFO to SEA (and Museum of Flight)

Hi all, I'm continuing my travel around the US and I'm currently up in Seattle (mostly to visit the Boeing factory and the Museum of Flight).
I flew up from San Fran with Alaska Airlines in First Class in one of their older 737-400 aircraft.

Summary:
Friendly staff
Good food
Comfortable flight
Old plane, no leg room in comparison to Virgin America.
No pillow/blankets
No pre-take off drink
No priority baggage

Summary: Friendliest staff I've met in the US, although the aircraft is quite dated.

Here's the trip report:

...I'll upload some photos from the Museum of Flight later today. I'm off to the Boeing factory for a tour shortly. :)

Its on my bucket list for 2016. To remind me, my a friend purchased a Boeing 787 model on a stand for my bar.

Enjoy Limewood!
FYI, there's two must-dos for an aerosexual (as my former boss called us) in Seattle.
1. Museum of Flight, just south of Seattle. It's a great museum featuring the Concorde, AF1, 787 no.3, SR71, B17 and many many more.
2. Future of Flight AND Boeing Tour. This is north of Seattle and located at the main Boeing factory. There is the tour of the Boeing factory, which is great, and a small museum. The Museum isn't worth visiting, and if you did, you could see everything in 30 mins. There's a huge Boeing store there and I purchase a 787 mug. :) I did notice that the Boeing merchandise was cheaper here than at the Museum of Flight (the same mug was $10, vs $15).

SR-71 spy plane... ;)

I've done the Boeing tour but not the other museum..

The one just near Dulles airport in Wash DC is fantastic though...

SR-71 spy plane... ;)
Fixed. :)
I've spent the last 24hrs buzzing with excitement having just seen the planes I grew up always wanting to see. :) Now I need to find a B2 and Stealthfighter. :)

I've been to the Dayton Airforce Museum it was awesome.
I was just searching for 117s on display and there's one there - I'm very jealous! I'm planning on visiting the National Aero and Space museum in DC as well as the aircraft carrier in NYC (name escapes me) which has another Concorde and a space shuttle (which I'm more interested in!)

The Udvar-Hazy Centre at IAD is phenomenal and is the place you want to see a space shuttle (Discovery is on display). Intrepid is great too, however it only houses Enterprise which was a prototype and never flew.

Thanks for the info. I'll be in DC in a few days so I may check out the Udvar Hazy Centre! I didn't realise that the one on the USS Intrepid didn't fly.
