Does anyone know whether Virgin Business serve alcohol on Easter Friday flights

You might get a hint if the Lounge Bar is open on Good Friday. But I would expect they do.

Hmm, I flew to Sth Africa on QF a few years ago on Good Friday (which was a bad idea). The QF F lounge was a zoo but the bar was well and truly open. Didn‘t even occur to me at the time that was probably one of the few public places you could get a drink! No shortage of drinks on the flight either.

They serve alcohol 365 days a year.

Licensing laws are a state government responsibility.
That includes any restrictions on serving alcohol on particular days, including Good Friday.
Once in the air, they don't apply, athough intrastate flights may raise some interesting questions.
But, as @princessfiona has said, they will serve alcohol as usual.

Once on ANZAC day I flew First on QF93 (~11am departure).

The First lounge was not serving Alcohol until Midday due to it being ANZAC day. However, on boarding (before Noon) they were happy to serve Bubbles to First PAX.

IIRC, there was a tech. issue and we were deboarded for a couple of hours - back to the First lounge and more bubbles as it was then afternoon.
