Alice Springs Aircraft storage [COVID] decreases by one

Either on Thursday 13 or Friday 14 May 2021, 5J operated an ATR turboprop (may be have been RP-C7257) from MNL to AMQ in Indonesia for a refuelling stop then on to ASP.

This morning at 0700 hours, a Cebu Pacific A333 was meant to depart ASP for MNL, bringing it out of storage. I can't see the flight on FR24 (and don't know its flight number).

I've not seen stories about 5J, SQ or any other operators' aircraft moving from stabling at ASP back into passenger or freight service. Is this 5J one today the first?

How many aircraft are currently stored at ASP, and what's the breakdown by operator and model of plane?

Yes, after this thread commenced, a (former SilkAir) SQ aircraft was on FR24 possibly departing ASP, but I haven't checked to see if it is flying back to SIN today.

The 5J A333 flight still isn't visible (assuming it has departed). I am told there can be many problems with aircraft that have been stored for months, even though maintenance has regularly occurred.

However ATR72 RP-C7285 took off from ASP at 1015 hours so may be headed to Ambon, Indonesia for refuelling on its way back to MNL or elsewhere in Philippines.

Apparently 5J brought seven crew down to ASP so that explains the three departures.

flydoc, did any SQ (formerly MI) plane(s) depart this morning as well?

Have you seen any other companies' aircraft recently depart to be brought back into service?

A333 RP-C3342 was airborne from ASP at 1116 hours, while A320 RP-C3249 followed at 1130 hours, both bound for MNL.

Well, because here the term was referring to a fraction (less than half), that's arguably preferred to fewer.

It it was less than 100, than that's definitely fewer. I'd use less here.
