Altitude Points conversion forQantas

Hi there.Nice to meet you. I have jusut joined up as I was trying to book flgihts on Qantas domestic using my Altitude rewards points and realised I couldn't seem to find out how many points were going to be taken. The charge is apparently about 34000 altitude points per flight. Will this be doubled if I use them for a Qantas flight? Does anyone know?:(
